New water meters

Important informatión: water meters in the village will be changed soon.
In the last year and a half we have been working hard to resolve the water problems. Drink water quality now is good, and leaks are reduced from 75 to 40 %. The next project started this week: changing the water meters in the village. 2200 water meters are in bad condition. With an investment in 2017 of 120.000 euros (60.000 Xaló townhall, 60.000 Alicante Diputation) 800 meters in the village will be changed, the rest will be changed in 2018.
So if you live in the village, workers might come to your door with the new meter. No direct costs involved. The new meters are “intelligent” and supply useful information about consumption and possible leaks. Thanks for your patience.
