The Xaló City Council, together with the Vall de Pop Association of Municipalities, is preparing the local waste management plan. A plan that aims to analyze the current collection and recovery situation of the municipality and, with this, propose measures that allow compliance with current regional regulations (Comprehensive Waste Management Plan of the Valencian Community) and that in part requires recycling 67 % of household waste generated before 2022.
With this objective in mind, a questionnaire has been drawn up in order to send us your concerns and concerns and gather information on waste management in the municipality. This process of citizen participation is an important part of the plan since one of the main actors in recycling systems is citizens.
